I'm going to:
- start carrying recyclables home when eat out at places that don't recycle,
- write to my elected officials and urge them to support environmentally sound laws and practices

Switching to all CFL bulbs and waiting eagerly for the widespread availability of LED solutions for home lighting!
ReplyDeleteAnd in California, one can often find CFLs for less than a dollar per bulb.
Less than a $1 a bulb!!! Dang! Note to self: Move to CA.
ReplyDeleteLED lights are sooooo cool. I read an article a long while ago about a flat in London that had been redone using only LED lights to light the apartment. No traditional incandescent or CLF's in the entire place.
Since the lights are easy on the eyes and do not burn hot, they put lights in the floors and all sorts of fabulous non-traditional places that regular lighting could never be installed.
Can't wait, can't wait. :)
