Eureka, broadway style

I'm so excited I can't stand it! I've been waiting for months, and months, and months, and months, well frankly, FOREVER, for new episodes of Eureka. (due to the writer's strike last year...)

Happy Day! New episodes are on the horizon. July 29th to be exact. I wonder when they'll have the show uploaded online? (I don't have a t.v.)

What is Eureka? A well-written comedic, upbeat, techy, and quirky sitcom that provides fun entertainment for geek and non-geek alike. In a day when there are very few shows that aren't based on crappy "reality", trying to sell sex, or push some boundary to see how far they can go without being fined by the FCC, Eureka stands out, in a good way.

For those of you who would like to catch up on the first two seasons, visit your local Netflix Queue for the easiest and most cost effective fix. For those of you who'd like to check out a few episodes to get back in the groove, go to the SciFi channel where you can watch the five episodes they're displaying at the moment.

Really short promo flick on the SciFi site, here.

Avast!, international talk like a pirate day

I logged onto my flickr account earlier today and was puzzled when I saw a pirate flag waving accross their logo.

So what did I do? I went strait to google news to figure out what in the heck was going on.

And that's when I discovered that today is International Talk Like a Pirate day. Here's the official site. So to help celebrate the day in style, I'm posting The Five A's.

Here are links to the Official Pirate song and Rap, pirate style of course.

Aaaarrrrrr,

Video Game, from fatty's son

I'm sending a little entertainment your way, compliments of Fatty over at Fat Cyclist. His son programmed a macromedia flash video game that is quite amazing. My initial score, 32. My all time high, 5050 (which incidentally pretty much sucks). Report back and tell us how you fared.

For those of you Fat Cyclist readers out there, you'll get the inside joke when you play. For those of you who don't, you better start reading now. Fatty's a pretty funny guy.

Eat A Lot of Goats: the video game.

p.s. I tried to post this yesterday, but my computer decided to temporarily die on me. And Monday, I was out sick...
